Adrenalin Rush is the first legal shop to open in over forty years after an ordinance previously banning tattooing within city limits was overturned by the Superior Court in December 1999.  We opened our doors in January 2001 and are amongst the best for safe, professional and highly creative tattoos.  We adhere to the strictest sterilization and quality standards.  The shop is O.S.H.A. compliant and all personnel are CPR, First Aid and Bloodborne Pathogens trained and certified.

Award Winning Artist Horace & Giulio are the main tattoo artists with over 20 years experience.  They have perfected their skills so that even the most intricate and unique designs can be applied.  Individual tattoos are available or a panorama of inter-connected designs can be planned and executed.  Custom work, restorations and cover-ups are also specialties.

With tattooing comes other forms of body modification and at Adrenalin Rush that includes body piercing.  Yara & Anthony are the piercers and were mentored under the teachings of Fakir Musafar.  Fakir Musafar is internationally known for his work with primitive body decoration and rituals and is often called the father of the modern primitive movement.

Adrenalin Rush is located in the historic Ironbound District of Newark at 46 Ferry Street, 1 block from Newark Penn Station and 3 blocks from the new Prudential Center.  Our hours are Monday thru Thursday 12 to 9pm, Friday & Saturday 12 to 10pm and Sunday 12 to 5pm.
